At last a Gauge 1 Britannia. This started out as an exercise to see how many of Rogers Evening Star parts could be used for a Britannia. The cylinders were the same and the motion bracket only required some tweeking. We already have a tender so the rest was childs play!! Not really but it makes into a super model.

This is a set of drawings that came from Australia via the USA. I believe it runs on 45mm track. It looks like and old American loco with cowcatcher etc. That is all I can tell you. If you want to know more get in touch I have a GA.

Rogers 9F Evening Star in Gauge 1. A complex locomotive serialised in the Model Engineer 182 to 184. Probably not the first locomotive you should try but an excellent one when you have some experience. I have tried to make the parts easier to assemble. The cross members which come as a kit all lock together for easy soldering then you file off the excess.

The first Gauge 1 locomotive for many. Single cylinder 0-6-0 which has an excellent performance. Many have been built proving the design.

This was in the Gauge 1 Newsletter and Journal. Purchase an Accucraft 0-4-0 throw away the top and build up this kit. Hey presto you have a 0-4-0 B4 look alike. How is that for a cheap entry into the Gauge 1 field.
